Between Comino and the tiny uninhabited island of Cominotto there lies a stretch of water which is exceptionally clear and turquoise in appearance.
The sea floor consists of brilliant almost-white sand, making it popular with visitors throughout the summer months. A truly stunning and remarkable sight, and one which is not to be missed.
The lagoon area itself is cordoned off to allow swimmers and snorkellers to observe the rich marine life to be found in this area. Inevitably the lagoon is much-photographed and has now acquired an international fame.
